At this visit we can complete the necessary paperwork, answer questions, transfer keys, and tour your home while discussing detailed instructions on how to care for your pets.  This initial required meeting will be scheduled at least 48 hours prior to your first service.

Dog Walks:  

$13 – 15 min; $16 – 30 min;  $20 – 45 min;  5 walks, Mon.-Fri. = $60 (15 min), $75 (30 min), $95 (45 min):         

Midday exercise and play and/or reinforcing training.  Ideal for busy households, second-shift dog owners, or families unable to provide enough activity for their dog due to illness/injury/accident.  Dog walking only.  No in-home services provided.  30 minutes base time for up to 2 dogs.  Daily Dog Walks between 10:30 AM and 3:00 PM.  Holidays excluded.

Regular In-home Visits**:  

$18 – 30 min                              

Ideal for many multiple pet homes, supervised feedings, walks, and play.  Dogs will require more than one daily visit.  30 minutes base time for up to 2 dogs/4 pets.

Extended In-home Visits**: 

$22 – 45 min;  $26 – 60 min    

Best for long walks, multiple pets, pets that need just a bit more TLC, or pets with special needs.  Dogs will require more than one daily visit. 45 minutes base time for up to 2 dogs/4 pets; optional 15 minute increments.

Value In-home Visits**: 

$15 – 15 min

Can be used as a quick turnout or potty break, crate training, litter box cleaning, medicating, or even a 3rd feeding.  15 minutes.

Drop-by Visits: 

$10 – 5 min                                

Drop in to transfer keys, lockout service, nail trim, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, anal sac expression, check iron/stove, turn off sprinkler system, etc.  NOT meant for pet care.  5 minutes.

Mileage: 

$1.50 per mile beyond 10 miles

For pet sitting / dog walking / drop-by visits and taxi services.

Nail trims / Teeth brushing / Ear Cleaning: 

$5 – per service

In conjunction with a Dog Walk, In-home or Drop-by Visit.

Anal Sac Expression / Sanitary Clip: 

$8 – per service

In conjunction with a Dog Walk, In-home or Drop-by Visit.                    

Supply Taxi: 

$15 plus mileage beyond 10 miles

Picking up medications and supplies from your veterinarian, local grocery store, or pet supply store.  Prescription medications from your veterinarian must be either paid for or be approved in advance by your vet for pickup by The Pet Au Pair.

Pet Taxi: 

$18 one-way; $25 round-trip (30 min. wait time included) plus mileage beyond 10 miles

Transportation to / from groomer / vet or other destination.  Veterinary services must be arranged and paid for in advance.

Holidays:

$5 per visit per holiday ($10 maximum per day)

New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day (actual and observed), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Day after Christmas.

Daily dog walks – no charge if cancelled by 9 a.m. morning of the scheduled walk; otherwise full amount will be charged to your account.
